Yankee Chapter: Making Waves With Old Outboards

Mystic Seaport Antique Marine Engine Expo, Mystic CT - August 20 & 21st

The Mystic Seaport Antique Marine Engine expo is a excellent event to atend. The Seaport is always interesting to visit but add 300+ old engines from massive triple expansion steam engines down to the Elto Cub and you have the ingredients for a lot of fun!

This year we had a great turn out of AOMCI members and a fantastic display. The booth had an early electric and a 1903 home-made outboard, Watermans, Cailles, Evinrudes, and everything up to motors from the 1960’s.

A lot of information was handed out to potential new members and lot of old outboard questions were answered.

Thanks to all the members who attended and a special thank you to Gary M. who coordinates the meet each year. And thanks to Norm W who took the pictures below.
